  1. The Plan of God
    • The Creation
    • The Fall
    • The Promise – Currently
    • The Redemption
    • The Renewal or the restoration.
  2. Copy/paste vs inspiration
    1. First inspiration then see what others have taught.
    2. Not copy/paste for getting messages, for source.
    3. If no inspiration, then no calling. Do something else.
    4. Triangles-drawn originally, later same word processor.
    5. Judge angels e.g., revelation in the Word of God.
    6. Keep it real, don’t pretend. Be authentic.
    7. Identity in Christ – see what He sees in you

1 Corinthians 6:3 (NKJV)  Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16  All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17  that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

John 15:16 (NKJV)  You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

Ephesians 2:19-22 (NKJV) 19  Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20  having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, 21  in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22  in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Galatians 3:26 (NKJV)  For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

  1. Born again vs knowledge of Christ

1 Peter 1:23 (NKJV)  having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,

1 Corinthians 1:22-24 (NKJV) 22  For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23  but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 24  but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

  1. Pearls to Swine – spiritual things to the natural man
    1. Limited nutrients in the ground
    2. Choose wisely. Pick your battles. Know priorities.
    3. Walk worthy of your calling.

Matthew 7:6 (NKJV)  Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

1 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV)  But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Ephesians 4:1 (NKJV)  I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

  1. Easy in Christ
    1. Does not mean there are no difficulties
    2. Peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart

Matthew 11:24-30 (NKJV) 24  But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.” 25  At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. 26  Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. 27  All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. 28  Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Philippians 4:4-8 (NKJV) 4  Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5  Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. 6  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7  and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8  Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy–meditate on these things.

Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV)  Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

  1. Eternal life not an inheritance. Follow Jesus to have eternal life.

Luke 18:18 (NKJV)  Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

Luke 18:22 (NKJV)  So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

The Good News that is the “Gospel”.

1 Corinthians 15:24 (NKJV)  Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.

The Promise of a Messiah in the Old Testament.

rejected by his own people.

  • Psalm 69:8 (NKJV) I have become a stranger to my brothers, And an alien to my mother’s children;
  • Isaiah 53:3 (NKJV) He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

Resurrection

  • Psalm 16:10 (NKJV) For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

Messiah would be a sacrifice for sin.

  • Isaiah 53:5-10 (NKJV) 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. 7  He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. 8  He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. 9  And they made His grave with the wicked– But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth. 10  Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.

Messiah would return a second time.

  • Daniel 7:13-14 (NKJV) 13 “I was watching in the night visions, And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him. 14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.
