“But I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery. And whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.”” Matthew 19:9 MEV
Remember unity? Divorce causes disunity, so does adultery.
“But He said to them, “Not all men can receive this precept, but only those to whom it is given.” Matthew19:11 MEV
What is given? Who is giving? Precepts of God, when sought out, understanding will be given. In all our “getting”, get understanding.
“He replied to him, “Why do you call Me good? There is One who is good. But if you would enter life, keep the commandments.”” Matthew 19:17 MEV
Jesus’ reasoning goes like this: “I’m more than just a teacher. I’m God. I’m the Word of God. Enter into that, enter into eternal life for which I’ve come to give to those who believe and receive”
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly, I say to you that it will be hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:23 MEV
Do not let anything that this world offers hinder us from entering His Kingdom.
“But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”” Matthew 19:26 MEV
The only way that this becomes even possible is if God Himself does it. Are we in the new covenant not the temple of God Himself. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

This applies to both Jews and Gentiles. Therefore, humble yourself. Pride comes before a fall. This is all that the Lord is allowing me to share in this post now.
“even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many.”” Matthew 20:28 MEV
To be like Jesus. To be Christlike… wait a minute, is that not a Christian is meant to be? Live for Him, conform to His image, don’t be a waste of space.
“The crowds said, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”” Matthew 21:11 MEV
We know that He came to His own, and His own did not recognise who He is and receive Him. Who then make up the “crowds”? Selah!
“He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it ‘a den of thieves.’ ”” Matthew 21:13 MEV
I’ve to make sure that what that has been entrusted to me does not end up being a den of thieves. Is God’s Glory being pilfered and stolen? It is no coincidence that the Bible immediately follows that with God ordaining praise from the mouth of babes!
“But if we say, ‘From men,’ we are afraid of the people, for all hold John as a prophet.”” Matthew 21:26 MEV
Fear God, not men. Speak the truth in love.
““Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you, the tax collectors and prostitutes enter the kingdom of God before you.” Matthew 21:31 MEV
Don’t be a cloud and wind without rain (Pr. 25:14), let your yes be a yes, your no a no. Your word, that which is authored by your tongue and reveals the contents of your heart, matters. Also, do not lie!
