Genesis 14:16 NKJV So he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as the women and the people.

In Genesis 12, we read about Abraham calling of Abraham. He was called by the Lord to go out to set forth, where they did not know. But God said, “Come out, be separate.” Abraham obeyed God, but partially in the sense that he took lot with him. And God made Abraham prosperous in all that he did. And Lot also prospered because he was with Abraham. Their prosperity got in the way of their relationship, and they started fighting among each other. And Abraham said, “Look, Lot, the land is before you. You choose what you want. I’ll choose what you haven’t chosen.” Because Abraham knew God was with him, and he is the cluster of all things. So it doesn’t matter where you go, what you are, if the Lord is with you, it makes all the difference.

And Abraham went one way, and Lot went the other way. Lot settled in Sodom and Gomorrah. And what happened? As you read on, you find that kings conquered Sodom, and they took Lot captive.

Here was Lot who had done wrong and chosen wrong. He came out of his father’s house because of wrong thing. God did not tell Abraham to take Lot with him. And many of us find ourselves in that position. Somehow through circumstances that we think or coincidence that we find in our life, we have come to Jesus, but then we find this powerless because the enemy has taken us captive. But I have good news for you. And his name is Jesus. He is a Christ of God. Because in Genesis chapter 14 verse 16, we read that, “So Abraham that bought back all the goods, he also bought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as all the women and all the people.” What happened was the news of Lot’s captivity reached Abraham. And so Abraham went after those people who had captured Lot, and he got them back. Jesus is not going to sit still. If you cry out to him, he’ll come after you. And wherever you are captive,(…) faith in Christ will restore us. And there’ll be nothing missing and nothing broken. Hallelujah. If you go to Psalm 40 verses 1 to 2, it says, “I waited patiently for the Lord, and he inclined to me, and he heard my cry.” That means what? You’re crying out to the Lord. When Jesus walks by and he looks like he’s walking on by, what did the blind man do?(…) He cried out, “Jesus,(…) you heard my cry, for that you have to wait patiently, not do things and create ishmails. He also brought me up out of the horrible pit.” That means in this pit, if somebody jumps in and he’s got the same powers and ability as you do, both of you will be in the same pit together. But here’s God who brought you up from the horrible pit and out of the mighty clay. That means what? The more you step into it, the deeper you get. The more you struggle, the deeper you fall into. And set my feet upon a rock. There’s that word again, rock.(…) That means you won’t stumble, it’s solid.

That’s what Jesus will place you and establish my steps. You can read that Psalm later. It talks about the Lord giving us a song of deliverance in our heart.

That means something. But here’s the news that is good for you. Doesn’t matter what you are, where you are, you cry out to the Lord, he will rescue you. Be it for your health, for your wealth, whatever it may be, cry out to the Lord. Humble yourself before the Lord. Don’t hold on to your dignity. David said to his wife, I will be even more undignified than this because I am doing it for the Lord.

Hallelujah.

Cry out to the Lord.

Let’s go to John 14, 12, how he went about doing things and how we are supposed to do the same thing. Most assuredly I say to you, he believes in me the works that I do, he will do also.

And greater works than these he will do because I go to my father.

For some people it is impossible to understand that they will do greater works because they have been bought up so religiously.

How can you do greater works than Jesus?

You must understand what God is saying.

If he said you will do greater works, you have to do greater works and you will do greater works. If he says be perfect because I am perfect, that means what?

You will be perfect.

It will be perfect that which concerns you. Amen? But here is the problem.

We can’t be perfect, we can’t do greater works as we are.

The way we are.

I will give you an example.

When I was doing my hotel management and I was studying there was a major de-ho, basically in the restaurant he was teaching us all the things of the restaurant.

We called him Mr. G, his name was Giovanni.

He was Italian and he spoke with a thick Italian accent but he was rude and he took you to task no matter what.

What about Giovanni? I am one of the few people I can say fuck grace in his eyes. I don’t know why.

Because he never yelled at me. Once he came very close but he didn’t yell. Yes. But it was, do you understand?

I know that two batches before he sent a couple of people home because they were too rich and they wouldn’t do what he had asked them to do.

So I was asking him and talking to him about why he does what he does.(…) Maybe that’s why he didn’t get angry.

And I understood this principle.

Before he can mold us into the image that he wants us as people serving other people is got to break us.

And that’s why when you have, when you come from a rich family,(…) when you have 16 servants, I’m talking about the people who got fired.(…) He first gave them the toilet duty. What was the toilet duty? Clean the toilets.(…) They said, no, I have 16 mates. And he said, go sit with them. You send them off the school, right? They pack your bags and go home right there, right there.

None of us wanted that because we are not going to get our money back.

That’s how strict he was.

So when he said jump, he said, how high?

You understand my best friend, she was what, six foot two, but she was meant to be five foot eight, but she grew up four inches. And because of that extra growth cost her spine pain or whatever.

So Mr. G made her cut the bread, which is a task we have to do standing up, which cost immense pain for her. So I was wondering why he did that.

He told me, no, this is what you signed it for.

If I am not this tough, the world is tougher.

Did you understand? Yes.

So because of that,(…) I mean, for room service,(…) he had us carry a full tray of, I think four or five people’s worth of food and walk to the nearby village,(…) which is what, two, three kilometers and walk back. And if he dropped anything, oh, you heard it from me. We all had to do that.

So we learned how to carry the things with economy.

All the people who are showing off were doing this because they could carry the whole tray with one hand. But after three, four steps, they bought it back and the way they use a shoulder to support.

Do you understand? And we had to go down the stairs. We had to walk up and down half a mountain basically, and then come back.

And he said, this is a zoom service.

Do you understand? And don’t expect elevators.

And do you understand? And the elevator that we had, it started on the ground floor, but it went to the first floor all of a sudden. It jumped to the first floor. So if you carry something, it’ll come to the floor.

And if you’re going down,(…) it’ll be weightless for that time. And when it comes, when the elevator stops, it all falls on your head.

Do you understand? This is our training.

So Mr. G said, deal with it.(…) Oh, we had to learn and we had to learn fast.

But in the process, he broke us.

So our first internship,(…) I was faced, I was in the kitchen actually, and I was faced with a fridge full of meat. I didn’t know what cut was what. All I know there was full of meat.

And he said, all this main chef, if you want more meat, call the butchery and they’ll supply them. So they would ask like for pie at the war and all that. I’d say, where is that?

In this.

But thanks to Mr. G’s training,(…) I was able to find that out.(…) I mean, I was tough enough to get that. And the first week,(…) I remember I’m sharing all this with you so that you know how the Lord breaks you sometimes.

First week,(…) I was put, there were two people who in the night shift and I was put among one of I was one of the people. The other person was David. I remember David and anybody who worked with David, who is not Swiss, who is not David was Swiss, who is not adept in doing that. Got it. It was another Mr. G, but worse. It hit you.

Literally hit you.

And that night, my first night, night shift and airline cancelled.

And so we had all the people from the airline,(…) that’s 400 people or so plus a crew coming in for dinner for the night shift.

And here I’m with David and my friend said, have fun because they do not know how to say I’ll pray for you.

And I was thinking, this is a challenge.

But by this time, I knew I was in the fridge. I knew what was there. And every time David parked out an order, I prepared it. I put it like I knew, for example, the sole manure had to go 20 minutes. So do you understand? I knew what the water was. I knew what was there. And I did everything well because Mr. G had broken me and built me up. And by the end of that night shift, David and I became best friends.

And that friendship continues.

He was much older to me. Do you understand? And she was talking to me about like what he had never spoken to other people about. He told me about his parents and everything because we had time.

This is how we bear fruit in the Lord. The Lord breaks us.

The same principle is in the boot camp when you join an army.

Doesn’t matter what family, what background you come from.

You have to obey orders and that was given to you. You have to follow the general. They’ll break you and then they will make you and they will mold you into the image they have for you as a soldier.

The same thing when it comes to Christ.

So when the Lord breaks you, don’t run away from it.

Understand some of these things that we carry are not compatible with the Lord and the Lord will have to break us. Oh yes, he’s good. He’s rich and all that, but he’s not going to give you that wealth if you want to use that for your way in glory or destroying yourself.

Is that clear?

Yes.

So when you are compatible, when you can put a Bible next to your head and have an equal sign, you will do greater things than Jesus.(…) Amen.

But first he’s got to break you and some people don’t break.

Throughout their life, they hang on to this stubbornness.

And I believe this is one of the reasons why Jesus wipes away their fears because those people probably realize how stubborn they were.

The Lord spoke about this,(…) about you falling in the Word of God and having it break you. Is it better than the Word of God falling on you and having you, having you broken by the Word? I may not put it the right way, but you understand what I’m saying, yes?

So get right with God.

Don’t run away from the trouble. Return to Jesus.

Overcome that trouble.

Whatever it is, it is there. Yes, it will break you, but it will change you in that circumstances before he changes that circumstances.

And when Jesus taught,(…) he said, you will do greater things. First thing he taught, he did was demonstrate that he had authority or demons or all the things.(…) He was not just talking.

Do you understand? You go to John 10, 37-38. “For if I do not do the works of my Father, do not believe me. But if I do, though you do not believe me, believe in the works that you may know and believe that the Father is in me and I in him.” Meaning, you don’t have to believe me, but believe the Father is with me.

That’s why I asked you to testify.(…) Last week,(…) Basil called me up and said, you had prayed for me and I got a breakthrough. I said, testify to the group. I do not know if he’s done that. He said, I will do that, but I’ll do that this evening.(…) I don’t think he’s done that. Tina had chicken pox and she messaged me saying she’s feeling better after I prayed as I testify. Not so that I get the glory, but the Lord is easy on you. I don’t know whether she is testified of that. I do not know where mine is.

Now it’s easy to blame Basil or Tina. I’m talking about you.

What has the Lord done for you that you have not testified or given him glory?

And that when you give him glory, he’s building up a stone. Ebenezer has taught you about that.

Not the Baptist who left as a baby in the womb of our places because he didn’t hear Jesus. He heard Jesus’ mother, but he knew he made a spirit connection.

He himself doubted because he thought Jesus should work this way or that way or some other way.

So he sent his disciples to inquire.

And I find that true in my life.

If the Lord was with you, what would you have a heart attack?

If the Lord was with you, what would you have a stroke?

And I say to them, if the Lord is with me, if not with me, you go your way because that’s what the word says. Don’t hang around me. Don’t be hindrance.

Don’t be a nuisance.

The fire was turned up and the people who were supposed to throw shaat rak meh shaat rak and abednego, what? Perish in the fire.

I’m not bothered by this because I know I have received my healing.

It may be foolishness to you, but the things of the spirit often are foolishness according to the word if you are in the flesh.

I say this because John the Baptist doubted and he sent his disciples to him, to Jesus. He said, “Are you the one or should we look for some other?” That’s weird.(…) It’s John the Baptist who saw the spirit come upon Jesus and his father said, “This is my son who I am well pleased.”

And John the Baptist testified that like a dawg came upon him. Many years John the Baptist doubted him.

What did Jesus say?(…) Luke 7.22.

Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John these things you have seen again,(…) demonstration(…) and heard that the blind see and the lame walk.”

How many times has the Lord done things that is only a miracle? The lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them.

Oh, God was with me then but not now.

He doesn’t change, does he?

Hallelujah.

When Richard Brown, or I forget his name,(…) laid dying because of a car accident and his hand was almost severed and his wife was dead because of that car accident, his son came in the car behind and he just asked his son.

Now Richard Brown, I forget his name, I think it’s Richard,(…) William Brown, yes.

He had gone away from the Lord.

He had proclaimed himself to be the Messiah.

He had done everything wrong but I’m trying to show you the anointing was with him still because it’s irrevocable.

So he asked his son, he could not move his hand.(…) He said, “Where is your mother? What’s happening to her?” He couldn’t get up and the son said, “She’s dead.”

And William Brown said, “Put my hand on her head.”

And so the son did that and she came back alive and he died.

So the calling of God is irrevocable.(…) Did you understand? Yes?

What is your faith?

What is your faith? And you wonder why things don’t happen the way you want them to happen? Maybe the Lord is breaking you and maybe you need to hear this message and not just hear have it change you.

Jesus taught the people once they understood, “Oh, this man is really from God.”(…) Why? Because those teachings made people peculiar.

Those teachings made the people trust in things that are not their circumstances.

These teachings involved what we know as faith and faith does not go well with the world because when you have faith, the world will try to destroy that faith no matter what.

Did you understand? Yes? That’s why you don’t give pearls to swine.

Am I clear on this? Yes? So go to John 1820. Jesus answered him. This is when they came to get Jesus.

I spoke openly to the world.(…) I always taught in the synagogues and in the temple where Jews always meet and in secret I have said nothing. I have taught openly.(…) We’ll get to what he means by that.(…) But you can understand on surface level, he did not hide the fact that he’s the son of God. Do you understand? Yes? I’ve taught openly.

And where did he teach? In synagogues. Why? Because that’s where the Jews met. He was sent to the Jews.

Do you understand?(…) And the Jews who became his disciples were sent to the world.

That is how the Lord had mended salvation to be when God chose Abraham in Genesis chapter 12. Do you understand? The Jews were supposed to minister and tell the rest of the nation who God is and who the Messiah is. His name is Jesus. That’s what John 17.3 says.

So the Jews continued this tradition go to Acts 20.20. Paul is saying how I kept back nothing that was helpful, proclaimed it to you and taught you publicly from house to house.

Again publicly from house to house, wherever they gathered together was taught to them what the priest of God before Paul taught.

He authenticated what he was going to teach you with miracles from God. Yes?(…) Do you understand? Yes? Then he taught.

Now here’s the thing.

How I kept back nothing.

Jesus said I spoke openly.(…) Now he’s thinking about that. Why would they specify that?(…) Kept back nothing.

Then the Lord made me think about color.(…) You know, color, he bit that we have that a teacher does not teach everything to the student.

Why?

Because he doesn’t want the student to be more powerful than the teacher.

So what happens generation after generation, you find the diminishing of the teaching.

Only time everything was taught if it was part of a family.

Now father taught his son. Yes, because the family had to be defended. Do you understand all he knew in the sun? I mean that way. Yes.

But then the British had something to say about that. Yeah.

That’s a different story. But you come here, it says I kept back nothing.

And when you keep back something, you don’t teach everything to everyone.

That’s not what Paul did. He taught freely.

They kept back nothing.

Do you understand?

And that’s how I have taught and that’s how you’re supposed to teach.

So there was demonstration.

There was teaching.

And if you go to John 1633,(…) these things I have spoken to you that in me you may have peace in the world. You will have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I’ve overcome the world.(…) So this is talking about a faith in God in the midst of tribulation that makes you a peculiar person.(…) But that is encouragement.

And for you to receive that encouragement,(…) you must have faith.

Do you understand? The other ways says what these things I’ve spoken to you that in me you may have peace. What does that mean?

If you look at it in the natural, yeah, in the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. So people who don’t have that faith say, “Anatua,(…) my Jesus.”

What is that?

He has given you the power and authority to overcome.

Hallelujah.

That is faith.

And that is what the devil steals from you. He’s come to steal, kill and destroy.

Do you understand that? Yes?

But for that you must have peace. And in Jesus, only in Jesus, you will have peace. Why is that peace important? Because you must have a merry heart. Be cheerful. Why? The joy of the Lord is your strength.

Go to Proverbs 15, 13.(…) A merry heart makes cheerful confidence, but by sorrow of the heart, the spirit is broken.

Do you want to see how it’s all connected?

If you trust in Jesus, you will not allow the devil to steal your joy.

Do you understand?

Trust in you.(…) And there are times that you need other people to help you put your faith back into Jesus. That is why iron sharpens iron. That is why we have a community called the church.

Instead of it being a gossip oriented center.

Do you understand?

So demonstration,(…) teaching,(…) encouragement.

People like demonstration. They’re entertained by demonstration.(…) They want to see if I put all the videos of all the deliverance that the Lord has given people watch that.

Once I put what I titled the exorcism of somebody else online and it was gathering hits like nobody’s missus. I took it down.

Why? Because I don’t want teaching here. So I don’t want to be guilty of that.

Everybody wants demonstration and this all will be packed if all you do is demonstration.

But then Jesus taught where people gathered and then he encouraged.

But to encourage someone,(…) it requires faith and not just human encouragement.

You clear?

There is human you can you can take it down a level and encourage it and encourage people naturally. People are doing that. But I’m talking spiritually, be encouraged for that you need faith. You need to step up.

And Jesus said, do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in me. Trust in God. Trust also in me. He meant spiritually. Do you understand? Yes. That is in John 14. One. Yes.

Do you understand what I’m saying? Yes. And but there is something more.

That is impartation.

Impartation is deeper than just teaching.

And Jesus imparted to his disciples.

Do you understand? That means he taught them how to do what to do, but he also rebuked them. He called them a way of little faith.

Eden means his words.

How long will I be with you?

But this is all part of his teaching and it’s not pleasant at the time.

Do you understand? To impart something is deeper than his teaching.(…) If you read Psalm 103,(…) you can look at it later. God made his acts known to Israel. That means they saw how he moves like this, like that. And by a pillar, by a fire, just as by cloud, all these things. But he made his ways known to Moses.

He spoke to Moses face to face.

Question is, where do you want to be? He just want to see and witness. Oh, this is good of the Lord. The goodness of the Lord. Or do you want to do his will,(…) his purposes?

That is your choice. You know, how is there a vessels?(…) You choose where you want to be.

There is a cost to pay.

Do you understand this? Yes.

Go to 2 Timothy 2 1 to 2. So you therefore my son be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these two faithful men who will all who will be able to teach others also. So for you to be found faithful, I think the Lord has to break you and then put you back together.

And so in that process of breaking,(…) don’t run away from him.

Don’t throw your Bible away.(…) You probably ask God to break you. But not in those words.

Said Lord, I want to be used by you. So, okay.

And then when the Lord takes you to task, say, why is this happening?

I did that. The Lord said because you asked me. That’s why.

Said no, I didn’t ask for this. So no, you said you want to be used. These are the things that I’m burning away from you. Chef,(…) basically.

But this is only for a bracket period.

And because I didn’t believe God that it was only for a bracket period, he sent a prophet my way. Said, this is what the Lord says. What you’re going through is only for a bracket period. Exact same words. Why use the same words when the Lord tells me? Because I’m going to be used to it.

So I tell God, I think you can close the brackets now.

Sometimes I tell the Lord that I think you can this time to close the brackets.

And by faith, sometimes I push the key on the keyboard to close the bracket. But Lord, Lord says not yet.

Said, okay.

Your way.

Hallelujah.

That is impartation.

Now, I taught you about the struggles that King David went through during the Bible study. I’m not going to prehash that, but if you want to study more, go through that teaching.(…) But this is to encourage you. No matter what you’re going through, remember Lord. If the Lord was with Abraham who saved a lot,(…) God is going to save you. Hallelujah.

So don’t worry. Wherever you are, just cry out to him and he will save you. Amen.(…) Amen. Let’s all stand up.
