Introduction to the Creation of God

2021 01 10

We are going to study about creation.
There are a few things we need to understand, so that we get a better perspective.
Genesis 1:1 (NKJV) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
If you believe that God created everything, that is a good start.
James 2:19 (NKJV) You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe–and tremble!
So there is more
First thing is the purpose of the Word given by God.
What God said.
James 2:23-24 (NKJV) 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
In addition to just believing in the creator, Abraham applied his faith to what the Creator God said
Hebrews 6:18 (NKJV) that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.
Immutable: unchanging over time, not capable of or susceptible to change.

  1. Creator God plus
  2. What He said, His Word
To believe is to obey, follow, do, meaning that there must be “works” by faith in the true God who sent Jesus the Christ or the Messiah.
John 1:1-5 (NKJV) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
You must believe in Jesus the Christ if you want to be saved, faith.
    Author and perfector of faith
Luke 17:5-10 (NKJV) 5 And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” 6 So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. 7 And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? 8 But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’? 9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not. 10 So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’ “
Jesus basically said that they didn’t need more faith. They just weren’t using the faith they had.
Faith must be told what to do; it is your slave. Masters do not request slaves to work; they make them work. That is the way you should view your faith.
You do not passively hope faith will perform or tentatively ask faith to work. You take the authority you have in Jesus and command it!
The truth is, this slave (faith) is so powerful it can accomplish whatever we demand of it.
If you got saved by faith, you can be healed, delivered, provided for, and promoted by faith. Put your faith to work today, and don’t let it rest until it gets the job done.
    Saved from what?
    Judas, a bad guy.
Romans 5:8 (NKJV) But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 3:23 (NKJV) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Isaiah 59:1-2 (NKJV) 1 Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. 2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.
Who or what is Jesus the Christ?
John 1:29 (NKJV) The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
John 17:3 (NKJV) And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
Two things at affect our reality
2 Corinthians 5:18 (NKJV) Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
  3. We have been reconciled, so change our reality
    • In Matthew 6:13 (KJV), “Deliver us from evil.” The word evil represents the entire curse of sin upon man. Poneros, the Greek word for evil, came from the word ponos, meaning “pain.” And that word came from the root word penes, meaning “poor.”
    • Evil = sin, pain-sickness, and poor-poverty.
Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
    • We were given the keys to the Kingdom—which in part is the authority to trample over all the powers of hell.
Matthew 16:19 (NKJV) And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Luke 10:19 (NKJV) Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Luke 11:52 (NKJV) Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered.”
2 Peter 1:2 (NKJV) Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,
John 17:3 (NKJV) And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
    Key of knowledge about God
Jesus is the Word of God
Jesus is the Wisdom of God
    Jesus is God
Tongue>Heart>Mind>Renew in the Word of God
  4. We are called to reconcile
    • His entire treasure is at our disposal in order to fulfil His commission, when we are silent, when we don’t witness Jesus the Messiah, we have inadvertently chosen to keep those who would hear us away from eternal life.
    • So Renew your mind in the Word of God
Introduction to the Creation of God
Nehemiah 9:6 (NKJV) You alone are the LORD; You have made heaven, The heaven of heavens, with all their host, The earth and everything on it, The seas and all that is in them, And You preserve them all. The host of heaven worships You.
Psalm 139:13-15 (NKJV) 13 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
