Exodus 25:2 NKJV “Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering.
The Lord does not want our money, He wants our heart, our affiliation, our loyalty. Be content with His blessings, ask according to His will. Fulfill His purpose for us. God gives us power to make wealth. As we sow, we will reap.
Exodus 25:31 NKJV “You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be of hammered work. Its shaft, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and flowers shall be of one piece.
Pure gold is made pure after refining. It is extremely soft and malleable. Fineness expresses the percentage of gold to other metals. The world considers 999.9 as pure gold, equivalent to 24 carat.
In the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the Lampstands represent the Church. It goes without saying that our hearts must be pure, but without that, the Church cannot be pure.
I find that my heart is far from pure, but I press on towards my higher calling in Christ being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).
