Exodus 22-23

Exodus 22:28 NKJV “You shall not revile God, nor curse a ruler of your people.

I’m often reminded that this verse is there in the Bible when I get too political, and so like with many things, I’ve learned to submit even that to God. From Pastors and Priests to Politicians, if I consider the leadership ungodly, leaders need wisdom from God be it to rule the land justly or to guide people correctly. This is not being passive at all, but giving priority to what is spiritual over carnal. Like I said before, prayer works.

Exodus 23:2 NKJV You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after many to pervert justice.

Peer pressure is something I needed deliverance from because bad company corrupts good habits (1 Corinthians 15:33). A poster I once saw read “Don’t follow the crowd, follow the cloud”.  This applies to traditions of men and to the norms of culture. Follow Jesus.
