Day 43

Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. Romans 10:1 MEV

My heart’s desire is to see God’s purposes fulfilled in my life; His plans for creating me.

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10 MEV

It is this simple.

For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 MEV

This is the key.

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:14 MEV

If Romans 10:13 is the key, then this is the door.

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring good news of good things!” Romans 10:15 MEV

It is all about being sent by the Lord. If the key does not match the door, how will it be unlocked? Expensive shoes does not God’s purpose make. This beautiful feet are ordained and sent by God. Find yourself approved by Him who sends.

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:16-17 MEV

This is the reason that the word of God is preached to you. Build up your faith.

For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will He spare you. Romans 11:21 MEV

It is a fearful thing to be on the wrong with the living God.

For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, lest you be wise in your own estimation, for a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. Romans 11:25 MEV

It is still a mystery to me how all Israel can be saved, but if the Word says so, that is enough for me. While I may not understand it completely, I will not be counted as those who disbelieve God.

As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sake, but as regarding the election, they are beloved for the sake of the patriarchs. Romans 11:28 MEV

The word “enemies” again. It seems harsh for Paul to use that word, but then again, it seemed cruel for God to give orders to have all the people and animals killed in the Old Testament.

O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable are His ways! Romans 11:33 MEV

Never put God in a box, selah!

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2 MEV

Renew your mind.

he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with generosity; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. Romans 12:8 MEV

Here is giving as an office, as one of the diverse gifts according to the grace that is given to us. Afterall, there was a Barnabas.

Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Do not pretend to be wiser than you are. Romans 12:16 MEV

These evil traits are certainly not becoming of a Christian.

If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Romans 12:18 MEV

This is more significant than we give importance, and brokering this peace, the nothing missing nothing broken of God, is one of the areas which we have been given authority over. Proverbs 16:7 NKJV When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 MEV

Sharpen your axe.
