Day 8

“He said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without wedding garments?’ And he was speechless.” Matthew 22:12 MEV

No excuses before God.

“They said to Him, “Caesar’s.” Then He said to them, “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”” Matthew 22:21 MEV

Glory belongs to God (Eph 3:20-21, Psalm 115:1).

“Jesus answered, “You err, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.” Matthew 22:29 MEV

Is this true in our lives? We need to check, constantly if necessary.

“He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying:” Matthew 22:43 MEV

An example of Jesus telling the folks in those days and now to dig deeper into the word of God to avoid misunderstandings. He reconciled us not only physically and spiritually, but He is also able to reconcile the Word of God to us provided that we seek understanding.

“Therefore, whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do their works. For they speak, but do nothing.” Matthew 23:3 MEV

The Kingdom of God is not just talk. Do not be clouds without rain (Prov 25:14). Remember Ecclesiastes 11:3.

Jesus said “woe” seven times, plus He had other nice things to say including calling them serpents and generation of vipers. Let us not fall into the hands of the Living God, but let us run to His open arms.

“Jesus answered them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another that shall not be thrown down.”” Matthew 24:2 MEV

Indicating a shift from the natural to the spiritual.

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.” Matthew 24:35 MEV

Amen!

““Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord will come.” Matthew 24:42 MEV

Why did people wear a watch? To be aware of the passing time. Just like that we are supposed to watch, pray and know the season we are in.

“and begins to strike his fellow servants and eat and drink with the drunkards,” Matthew 24:49 MEV

Do not associate with those who are given to change. Do not give your ear to intoxicating doctrines.
