Spirit Salvation

Spirit, Soul, Body

  • 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Judgment seat of Christ

  • Matthew 12:36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
  • Romans 14:10–12 10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written: “As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.” 12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
  • 2 Corinthians 5:10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

White Throne Judgment

  • Revelation 20:15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

No Condemnation

  • Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
  • Romans 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
  • John 3:16–17 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
  • Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
  • 1 Corinthians 5:5 deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

No Judgment

  • Romans 7:15–17 15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. 16 If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is 17 But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
  • Romans 7:24–25 24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
  • Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Baptism by fire

  • Exodus 13:21 21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.
  • For their deliverance and protection
  • Acts 2:2–4 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
  • Lead the way
  • Give them light

Dear God, I repent of my sins and my ways apart from you.

I put my trust in Jesus Christ as Lord; the master over my life, and my Saviour.

Forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus’ name I pray.
