Malachi 3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, ” If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you [such] blessing That [there will] not [be room] enough [to receive it.]
This scripture is familiar to us, and I’ve heard it used when talking about tithes. Lately though, the Lord has been talking to me about food, especially during the end times.
While talking about the end of this age in Matthew 24, Jesus spoke about the wise and faithful servant who made sure that there was food. I sensed that the Lord was talking about Joseph from the Old Testament. I’ve talked about its relevance to the using our spiritual gifts, but there is more to it.
You will not be able to buy food without the mark of the beast. During those days, is the Church meant to feed the hungry? Naturally this is not practical because the food will not be enough, but then, our Lord fed at least 5000 with 5 loaves and 2 fish.
This made me think about both aspects, meaning, be wise and prudent naturally, be ready spiritually.
