Into the darkness

Genesis 1:1-3 (NKJV) 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God wanted there to be light, so He spoke it into existence. He wanted there to be water, land, and plants, so He declared them to be. Did you know, as a believer, that same creative power lives inside of you by the Holy Spirit? What are you speaking into existence in your life?
Philippians 2:5 (NKJV) Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
1 Corinthians 2:16 (NKJV) For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
Isaiah 45:11 (NKJV) Thus says the LORD, The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: “Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons; And concerning the work of My hands, you command Me.
Are you declaring the truth of God’s Word that says you are the head and not the tail—that you are above only and not beneath? Listen to the words that come out of your mouth and speak what you seek! If you seek good health, declare that God is your Healer and that you will live strong and healthy all the days of your life. If you need provision for something, declare that God is your Provider.
Genesis 22:14 (NKJV) And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of The LORD it shall be provided.”
1 Corinthians 4:6 (NKJV) Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other.

This is part of my daily declaration of Faith.
Be proactive and speak peace into your home. Speak God’s protection over your family. Speak favor over your job. Decide and declare that today will be your best day to the glory of God!
Something Out of Nothing
Do you believe God for something today that seems impossible? Are you anticipating the thrill of seeing His power displayed in your life? We serve a great and mighty God. He can create something out of nothing. He can make a way when there seems to be no way!
Exodus 14:13 (NKJV) And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.
2 Kings 6:5-7 (NKJV) 5 But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, master! For it was borrowed.” 6 So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float. 7 Therefore he said, “Pick it up for yourself.” So he reached out his hand and took it.
Both are miracles
Genesis tells us that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. But before He spoke the world into existence, it was formless and void. If God can make the world out of nothing, He can take the empty places in your life and create something beautiful, too! Before there was a sun or any other stars, God created light! No wonder one of His titles is Light! He can speak light into your darkest hour.
Isaiah 45:3 (NKJV) I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the LORD, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.
He can work in what seems like darkness to you. In fact, He does some of His best work when things are absolutely dark for you.
 Paul the Apostle, Abraham the father of faith (Gen 15)
He can take your formless dreams and give them shape. He can resurrect your dormant gifts and talents! He can make your crooked places straight! God is more than able to bring all your dreams to pass and help you accomplish those things that you desire for your life that you believe are impossible. He can do far more than you can possibly imagine!
Ephesians 3:20-21 (NKJV) 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Remember, you are created in the image of Almighty God. There’s power in your words, and there’s power when you’re in agreement with Him. Start saying what God says about your situation. Speak life to your broken dreams, today.
Stay in an attitude of faith and expectancy.
Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Allow God to be God in your thinking and deciding. As you do, God will take you places that you’ve never dreamed, and you’ll live in victory all the days of your life!

  1. For unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.
