Twenty-four Things the Messiah Will Do

by
  1. He will judge people in righteousness (Psalm 72:2).
  2. He will judge the poor in justice.
  3. He will deliver the poor from oppression (Psalm 72:4).
  4. He will save the children of the needy.
  5. He will destroy the oppressors.
  6. He will instill fear in hearts of men regarding evil (Psalm 72:5).
  7. He will bless men like rain blessing the earth (Psalm 72:6).
  8. He will cause the righteous to flourish (Psalm 72:7).
  9. He will bring universal peace (Psalm 72:7; Isaiah 2:2-4; Isaiah 9:6-7).
  10. He will rule with universal dominion (Psalm 72:8,11).
  11. He will completely defeat His enemies (Psalm 72:9).
  12. He will receive homage from kings of the earth (Psalm 72:10-11).
  13. He will deliver needy through prayer (Psalm 72:12).
  14. He will help the helpless.
  15. He will spare the poor and needy from needless sufferings (Psalm 72:13).
  16. He will redeem souls from deceit and violence (Psalm 72:13-14).
  17. He will punish murderers (Psalm 72:14).
  18. He will live eternally (Psalm 72:15).
  19. He will receive the gold of Sheba.
  20. He will hear prayers of His people.
  21. He will receive praise from subjects.
  22. He will have His name continue eternally (Psalm 72:17).
  23. He will bless people eternally.
  24. He will be called blessed by all nations eternally.
