  1. God protects
  • Matthew 10:29–31 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
  1. God encourages us
  • Psalm 10:17 LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear,
  1. God comforts us
  • 2 Corinthians 1:3–4 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
  1. God disciplines us
  • Hebrews 12:10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.
