The Lamp and Light Post

Greetings from the Father’s House Church,

I have used “The Lamp and Light Post” (TLLP) as the title for my blogs since 2008. The name Lamp and Light Post is based on Psalm 119:105 – “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”. Post can mean either an upright wood/metal support for a lamp /light or an established mail system.

By the grace of God, the ministry has grown beyond blogging and has become a church, and I will no longer be using the TLLP as a title for my emails to you. The only difference you will notice is the absence of “The Lamp and Light Post” in the Subject. This will be applicable only to the older subscribers who have signed on to my blog and not just the new option for newsletters.

Last week, I got the news that a member of the Church was suffering from Sickle Cell Anemia. In his mid-thirties, he’s had this since as far as he can remember. I was shocked to hear this because I knew that the medical science has no cure. I also knew that did not change the fact that Jesus still heals.

Yesterday, he got his medical report that showed negative for Sickle Cell Anemia. His doctor confirmed that he no longer has this disease. Our Lord Jesus has healed him completely. Praise the Lord.

I want to encourage you to believe in Jesus for your miracle, for your healing, for your breakthrough, no matter what the circumstances are, not matter what the doctors say, and no matter how you feel about it. Jesus is alive, we are his witnesses and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him. (Acts 5:32)
