Daniel 8:5-9 NKJV And as I was considering, suddenly a male goat came from the west, across the surface of the whole earth, without touching the ground; and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. [6] Then he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing beside the river, and ran at him with furious power. [7] And I saw him confronting the ram; he was moved with rage against him, attacked the ram, and broke his two horns. There was no power in the ram to withstand him, but he cast him down to the ground and trampled him; and there was no one that could deliver the ram from his hand. [8] Therefore the male goat grew very great; but when he became strong, the large horn was broken, and in place of it four notable ones came up toward the four winds of heaven. [9] And out of one of them came a little horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Glorious Land.
Jewish understanding is that prophecy is pattern.

The western view and interpretation falls short.
We must be very clear, or as clear as we possibly can, when it comes to scripture and eschatology.
Look at what the Apostle Paul wrote as an example:
Ephesians 1:6 NKJV to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
† The New King James Version translates that we are accepted in the Beloved.
Song of Solomon 6:3 NKJV I am my beloved’s, And my beloved is mine. He feeds his flock among the lilies.
- † This is not about you or Jesus.
What Paul is saying in Ephesians 1:6 is that is what we are:
- † We are accepted by God as His children when we come to Him in the Beloved, that is Jesus Christ.
- † We are not accepted because of what we were but because of who Jesus is.
- † This does not mean that Song of Solomon 6:3 is the source of this concept or its reference.
The same applies to Song of Solomon 2:1
Song of Solomon 2:1 NKJV I am the rose of Sharon, And the lily of the valleys.
- † No reference that the rose of Sharon is Jesus,
- † Inference yes, but that does not make it scripture
Two wars
- One to take plunder and to take booty,
- The other against Israel from being a nation
Ezekiel 38:10-13 NKJV Thus says the Lord GOD: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: [11] You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’- [12] to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. [13] Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?'”‘

[4] They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” [5] For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You: [6] The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites; [7] Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; [8] Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot. Selah
- That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”
Peace and safety???
1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 NKJV For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. [3] For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
- Ezekiel 38:11-12 – to a peaceful people, who dwell safely?
Zechariah 14:1-4 NKJV Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst. [2] For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. [3] Then the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. [4] And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.
- Are labor pains continuous or sporadic?
Like I said, lots of wrong judgment on end-time prophecies online nowadays. Please be careful of false prophets that seem to be coming out of the woodwork these days.
